I enjoy working with words and helping people get their thoughts organized clearly on paper. I also enjoy writing, whether its for a technical publication, a Web site, or a magazine. Magazines and books have always been my first love, and they're what got me into this business. I'm always reading something -- I can't eat by myself without reading!

I know how important deadlines are, so if I don't have time to take on a project, I won't. I generally work as an independent contractor on your terms.

Our working relationship:
Editing
Generally, you’ll either email me your documents and I’ll edit them in Microsoft Word with track changes on and with questions (queries) embedded in the text. Or you can snail mail me your documents and I’ll mark up the hard copies with a red pen and query you in the margins. 

Writing
You email me the assignment topics with word count requirements, and I email you the written and edited piece back within the specified time range.

Rate information:
I charge average industry rates (check here for industry rates from the Editorial Freelancers Association).
